Red Hills Youth

Middle School Class is held during the 11:00AM gathering every Sunday morning. Pastor James or a youth leader will walk students through the Bible in a discussion-based gathering. Meet us in The Studio to worship and learn together!

Our Middle School Youth Group is on Sunday nights from 4:30-6:00PM! We have free time in the building to start the night. Then, we meet in the auditorium for a game, worship, and a message! Lastly, we split off into smaller groups to discuss the message.

Current Series:
Come & See

In Romans 10–11, Paul pulls back the curtain on the heart of the gospel: salvation belongs to God, is received by faith, and is offered to everyone. This three–week series will help us see that the good news of Jesus isn’t something we keep to ourselves but an invitation meant to be shared.

As we walk through these chapters in Book of Romans, we’ll discover that Christian witness isn’t driven by guilt or obligation, but by compassion. When our hearts are captured by Jesus and the salvation He freely gives, we begin to long for others to come and see His goodness too.

This series will challenge us to treasure the gospel more deeply, trust God’s saving work more fully, and live as people who joyfully invite others into the hope we’ve found.

Parent Connection

We want to partner with you in connecting with your students around what we’re teaching at Red Hills Youth. With Parent Connection, we have a goal of equipping you with practical, Scripture-centered ways to encourage and disciple your students at home.

We want to partner with all parents as they disciple their students because we know the majority of discipleship happens at home. To keep families updated with our teachings, we have launched our youth messages in podcast format!

The podcast will include weekly teaching plans, access to the audio podcast, and an occasional devotional from Pastor James. There will also be other resources, in addition to the weekly teachings, that you can use as a tool to engage with your students!

Our podcast is now available on all major platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Google, and Spotify.

Red Hills Youth Happenings

  • Come & See Discipleship Group

Weekly gathering for all youth of Newberg to be discipled and study Scripture together.

Wednesdays from 10:00 - 11:30AM at C.S. Lewis School Gym (1605 N College St, Newberg)

  • Parent Forum

Join us for lunch on Sunday, May 31 at 12:30–1:30PM!

Join us for a time of connection and collaboration as we discuss how to better disciple our students. We’ll share updates on youth ministry vision, discipleship strategies, and upcoming dates to be aware of.

We also want to hear from you. This is a space for open conversation, idea sharing, and resource-building—whether you’re a Red Hills parent or not. To make this time the most beneficial, I have three requests:

Bring yourself – I’d love to connect with all our parents and hear from the wide range of experiences within our ministry.

Bring your questions – Use the registration form or come ready to ask! We want this to be a collaborative, action-oriented conversation about how we can better disciple students—both at church and at home.

Bring your friends – Even if they’re not part of Red Hills. Outside perspectives are valuable, and we want to learn from as many voices as possible on what’s working in student discipleship.

Childcare will be provided—please RSVP and let us know who’s coming and if you’ll need childcare.

We can’t wait to see you there!

  • Silent Auction & Dinner (Benefitting Red Hills Youth)

Join us on Sunday, June 7 at 5:00-8:00PM!

Red Hills Youth is fundraising for camps, mission trips, and retreats! We hope to raise $20,000 through a silent auction and dinner on June 7 from 5-8 PM. This silent auction will help send our students and leaders to camp and attend mission trips. Our summer camps are July 20-24 & August 3-7 and is designed to help students to take the next step in their faith. Our Spring Break Mission Trip to Utah is also designed to help equip high schoolers to be bold in their faith and share it with those who do not know Jesus! Fundraising for these events is super important because it allows us to take any youth that would want to go but may only be able to with supplementary funds.

    Donations:
To make this event work, we will need many donations of items to auction off. Therefore, please let us know if you have an item to donate, someone you know who has one, or a business you know would like to donate. If you have an item, please fill out this Google form, no later than May 24.

    How You Can Help!
We will be offering a dinner in addition to the Silent Auction. Therefore, invite your friends and family because the more, the better! We also have a selection for the tables closest to the stage: VIP Seating! For an additional cost, you and seven others will be given a personal waiter for the entire night. The waiter and their team will serve your table’s food so you do not have to lift a finger for the dinner portion. They can also give you inside information on what is happening in the auction room. There are four VIP tables, so it is first come, first served.
