Walking With God // Walking Rightly With God (1 John 2:3-11)

As we begin our sermon series through 1 John, we see God wants us to walk with Him. Through walking with Him, we get to know Him better, and that is the whole point of the book of 1 John: That we would truly know Jesus—and in knowing Him, avoid sin and faithfully live His way. This week, as we examined 1 John 1:1-2:2, we saw that walking with God requires complete openness in surrender, just as our Savior fully surrendered in openness for us.
